So long Dr. Dobbs….

… been nice knowin’ ya.

Been a subscriber since ‘83 (or was it ‘84?).

As a trade magazine for the ‘hardcore’ computer programmer it was unique in that it appeared to represent ‘us’ all these years, sharing the love of software for the sake of itself.

But they have now gone corporate, joining their sister magazine, Software Development, who went soft on us years ago.

Now the look and feel ia all about what the Corporate IT Professional CoderBot Should Know…

It’s no longer fun, guys….
